Ashdod Online: Elkana Paz and Omer Inbar lived the dream as David Guetta played their tracks

The Ashdod Online site told the story of Elkana Paz and Omer Inbar: from Karmatek, festival shows around the world and signing with Spinnin' Records, to their new project Purple Pill.

Elkana Paz playing on a festival stage

In November 2018 the Ashdod Online site published a piece on the musical path Omer Inbar and I took, from our Karmatek project to our new project, Purple Pill.

Highlights

  • Omer and I met at a festival in Amsterdam in 2010, and around 2014 we founded Karmatek.
  • As Karmatek we played festivals in Spain, Taiwan, Korea and the Netherlands, and played Privilege in Ibiza.
  • We played the warm-up event of the Tomorrowland festival, the day before the festival itself, in front of tens of thousands of people. David Guetta played our tracks.
  • We signed with Spinnin' Records, part of Sony Music.
  • The article tells of the move to Purple Pill, a new project in progressive, deep and ethno-groove, which lets us play full sets of our own original material.
