Ashdodi: Ashdod producer Elkana Paz at the heart of Israeli mainstream music

In July 2022 the Ashdodi news site published a piece on my musical path, marking the launch of the new electronic show by the duo Guy & Yahel.

Highlights

• I produced the show, launched at the Lago venue, together with my partner Omer Inbar. It features ten of Guy & Yahel's best-known songs from every period in new electronic arrangements.
• The production took about two and a half months from start to finish.
• Leading producers from the Israeli music industry attended the launch.
• The article tells how I started out as a DJ at venues in Ashdod, and that over about a decade Omer and I produced two international electronic projects of original music.
• The connection with Guy & Yahel came through an arrangement I made for Marina Maximilian. That first message grew into a friendship and studio work together, as well as work with Marina on her electronic show and on original music.
